Mainstreet Soul had the pleasure of performing at the beautiful wedding of Anna Rosenfeld & Sam Karson on October 21, 2023, at The Michigan League at the University of Michigan. The evening was a perfect blend of elegance, tradition, and high-energy celebration, making it a truly unforgettable experience for the couple and their guests. Our team provided DJ services for their ceremony, ensuring a smooth and seamless soundtrack to their heartfelt vows before the real party began.

One of the most special moments of the night was the couple’s first dance, where Mainstreet Soul performed a stunning live rendition of La Vie En Rose by Louis Armstrong. The sentimental moments continued with the father & daughter dance to Isn’t She Lovely by Stevie Wonder and the mother & son dance to What A Wonderful World  by Louis Armstong, both of which were also performed live by Mainstreet Soul. Each of these dances added a personal and meaningful touch to the evening, setting the tone for a night full of love and celebration.

As the reception kicked into full gear, the energy on the dance floor was electric. We had the honor of performing the traditional Jewish Hora live for Anna & Sam, bringing an infectious joy that had everyone on their feet. From classic hits to modern favorites, our setlist kept the party going all night. Some of the crowd favorites included our signature disco medley, which includes songs like We Are Family by Sister Sledge and Get Down Tonight by KC & The Sunshine Band, Handclap by Fitz & The Tantrums, Shut Up & Dance by Walk The Moon, Mr. Brightside by The Killers, Raise Your Glass by Pink, and of course, the timeless classic Shout by The Isley Brothers.
